A whisky house with a view

The McLaren Vale Distillery sits on a 127-acre hilltop property at Blewitt Springs, on the northern edge of the McLaren Vale wine region. The tasting room is built right next to the copper pot stills, with floor-to-ceiling glass framing a sweeping view across the rolling vines and out to the Willunga Scarp.

The Barley to Bottle experience

Walk-in tasting flights run for individuals and small groups (up to seven). The signature Barley to Bottle experience walks you through every step of single malt whisky production at the still itself. Groups of eight or more must pre-book.

Beyond whisky

The distillery is primarily a single malt whisky maker but also produces gin and a small range of fortified wines on the same site. Awarded Brand Innovator of the Year in 2018 by Icons of Whisky.
