Ocean Street Bakehouse is a family-owned bakery at 3 Ocean Street, right at the heart of Victor Harbor's main shopping strip. It has collected multiple awards at the Great Aussie Pie Competition and Baking Association of Australia contests, and is best known locally as the home of the whale donut - a whale-shaped, filled donut that has become a Victor Harbor souvenir.
Pies, pastries and coffee
The bakehouse runs a full bakery case of sweet and savoury pies, sausage rolls, pasties, slices and sourdough, plus coffee and takeaway breakfasts. A handful of tables inside and out make it an easy quick stop in between the Granite Island causeway, the South Australian Whale Centre and the Victor Harbor foreshore.
